The 2 yo yos will lose this one.
Escondido PD have been running a lot of checkpoints over the last few years. They have got national attention because people believe the checkpoints really aren't sobriety checkpoints, but license/insurance checkpoints targeting Hispanic drivers. I tend to agree although I have no problem with busting people driving without a license or suspended license.
This article says that one checkpoint ran in 2009 found 90 people without a valid license. Dang! 90 people.

I cant even count how many windows I have broken in my career. It was pretty common for the midnight shift.
It came down to a forced entry report. Which only took a couple of minutes to do. Unlike all the other reports.
I am sure it would be a big complaint today and maybe more paper work but this type of complaint is pretty weak.
I broke the windows because they were tinted. I don't see much difference
between being tinted or not tinted when its dark and you want to play games with about rolling your window down.
