So many things wrong with this cop. Had he been shot it would have been because he made several mistakes.
Worst of all his stupidity would have gotten his partner shot.
Treating everyone as a threat tell you can determine otherwise was and still is how I approach my job today.
With that said, you can still be a gentlemen while doing your job.

Cop should start by going back to the academy. He can only toss (search) a car (A) incident to a lawful arrest, (B)with a warrant, or (C) if the driver is stupid enough to give permission. He has no control and is a liability. lucky he works in Ohio and not the South Bronx or Harlem. He would be soiling his underwear on a regular basis.
