^ So cheap, I think I'm just gonna get one, and see what it's about.

This seller is pretty near where I live...... Well, still about a 40 minute drive, but hey, it's Metro-Cleveland!

    ^ I will.

Anyone with LIDAR equipment, who'd like to test this stuff?

I wonder how well it works compared to the Laser Shield license cover.

It says "as seen in Car & Driver". Does anyone remember reading the review?

I'd probably skip on that buy and get the legit covers from Roy's website.

Actually, I'll be at Wright-Patterson AFB on Decembre 13 and 14 for a class. If you want to meet somewhere between Dayton and you on the 15th, I'll bring the guns.

Well, I ordered some. Allen, I will be anxious to see your findings after you have a chance to test these out. With only seven sets available, I thought at this price I better get them in my hands. If the leos don't like the Photo Blur covers I am running now, I will replace them with these.

A cheaper platform than Roy's for Veil?

"THE T3 ALPHA LASER LICENSE PLATE COVER ($49.95) from T3 Technologies is a piece of green plastic that, when installed over our highly reflective Georgia plate, cut the ProLaser II's maximum range from 2589 feet to an average of 2320 feet. Still well over three times the typical ambush distance, this is a meaningless reduction. It slimmed down the Marksman's maximum range from 1954 feet to 1193 feet, a useful decrease if you're targeted at extreme range but no help in the average short-range ambush."

Radar Jammer Test from Automobile Magazine - Escort Inc.

"Well...just tested it in a grey 1991 flat grey honda hatchback and did a base run with no "T3 Alfa laser protector" installed. The test road is a distance of 1,100' and it was instant PT with the PLIII. I had no problem with getting a reading on the test car at any time. Then we installed the "T3 Alfa Laser Protector" and I had to say it looked like there was no type of lic. cover on since it was very clear. We then started the next run and well the end result was just like having VEIL on the headlights...PT....PT.....PT...at any distance and time with no delay at all. Maybe the designer should put on something on the box like this....."The T3 Alfa Laser Protector will only work if used with the combining the use of VEIL". This product does not work at all. This guy must not have lidar guns to test his product that he says he has sold 40,000 of this product."

aser technology has evolved alot since 1991 and 1996. We are now on the 3rd/4th generation of laser guns

Back in 1991 we were in 1st gen and 1996 just entering 2nd gen

I have seen testing and those have done nothing to reduce reflectivity of the licence plate but the same has been said by the laser shield by some people
