Re: Dubai-UAE Needs your help with the new Radars,,
This radar operates on K-band(24.125GHz),it's made by Sensys-Sweden and it's one of the most sophisticated 4th generation radar systems.
You need a good K-band RD,like ValentineOne ,Beltronics STi-R or Stinger DSi.
Re: Dubai-UAE Needs your help with the new Radars,,
thank you very much for your reply , but which one of them is the best ?
ValentineOne ,Beltronics STi-R or Stinger DSi.
Re: Dubai-UAE Needs your help with the new Radars,,
Stinger DSi Spectrum Analyser is the best of the best,Spectre RDD proof and all,but it's VERY expensive(€1500).See here:
Stinger introduces the DSI Computer
On the other hand,STi-R and V1 are also very good detectors and will get the job done.I beleive that in UAE you have only K-band radars and Multanovas(Ka-34.3GHz),so you'll be fine with either of this two RDs.

damm dubai dont play no games

The STI-R I feel is a good choice too especially against the Multiva Radar which you can use the narrow ka to detect it from good distances.
That new one looks good too though, never seen that before.
DUBAI - New radar speed cameras
Hi Guys
Below is the link to the company information on the new lollipop like speed cameras. http://www.ieg-america.com/pdf/SenIe...eng_canada.pdf
I have seen a number of emails and comments saying these cameras do not flash when they take a picture. However 2 days ago i went past one at 144kmh on Sheihk Zayed Road next to Dubai Marina. IT FLASHED.
So not sure if its urban myth or not about them not flashing.
