Are any of the jammers able to be run in 'standby' or 'sensor mode' only? Would be useful if driving PSL and no need for jamming, but would still like to know if targeted.

But then LI's and Blinders I presume do not have receive only mode. ? (My OP should have been more specific - I was mentally excluding ZR4s)

Two local PD LEOs are standing on the sidewalk, playing with their new LIDAR gun, they shoot my car. So in that case, I don't need to jam or mess with kill switch, but it would be nice to know they were there shooting.
So you want something like Escort's AutoMute or a Cheetah mirror which will disable the jamming function automagically if you are below a certain speed yet still allow the receive function to work. The ZR4s won't help you there - you have to manually turn the shifter function on and off via the menu. I don't know if any of the other jammers can work that way.Quote:
