Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
I thought we'd have it by now... I guess the solution is dual up - V1 + STiR Plus or Redline
Re: Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
I'm figuring it'll be later this year, BEFORE Christmas. Just in time for the Holiday sale.

I really hope your right big al. It better be stealth too!
Re: Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
Or just get a new V1 and be done. The latest update matches or betters all of the above and you don't have to segment Ka and take the chance of missing radar. Besides it's only $400. :)

Not in my lifetime

If there was a new product in the pipeline, there wouldn't be all this re-flagging of existing products:
8500 X-50 Black
STi-Driver Magnum
Re: Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
Probably around the time we get a display that shows band frequency on the V1 :p

That is what I've been thinking since the beginning of this year. If it doesn't happen as the holidays approach, I don't see it ever happening.

I'd be willing to bet on it. Just wait, it's coming in November, early December.

If it does happen, they will definitely make some money off of me. I've been itching to move to them, but I don't want to lay down a lot of money on something now, then regret it in a few months. I really, really hope they do this.

There will be a flood of Redlines on Ebay once it happens.
Re: Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
With Escorts Fake lying ramp up i would hate to see how the arrows would work. The arrows would just go in a big circle

Now THAT was funny!
I'd love the arrows, actually. It is the single most important situational awareness factor missing on Belscorts.
Re: Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
I think the patent might not expire until later this year.
Re: Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
I emailed Escort about this just this passed week. From what it sounded like, no. The rep said, 'Why do you need arrows when you're slowing down for a radar hit anyway?'
I love my V1, but some of the Escort's features seem pretty nice. I'm pretty loyal to my arrows though.

Agree, w/the arrows part, that would make a Windshield RD hot, esp w/band segmentation, I'm kinda curious what the price would be, I'm betting it would be pretty high at least in the $600 range.

It kills me w/their kind of mentality / not thinking fwd attitude. Kinda like the same argument that's trying to be conveyed to them about adding band segmentation to all their windshield RD's
Re: Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
I sure hope so, but I honestly doubt it.
Re: Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
honestly since they haven't done it yet or even mentioned doing it and so far I think they don't have any interest in making the arrow feature. I would love to see Escort bring in the arrows, but honestly I don't see it happening
Re: Are we ever going to see arrows on Belscorts?
I don't see why its so hard to implement the arrows for radar, the 9500ix uses them to show the location of red light cameras.

That would prove that VR did something right.

The targeting mechanism is completely unrelated given that arrow is based off a fixed geographic location using a global positioning system to determine the detectors location relative to the target. I imagine the 9500ix could not do arrows given it has only one horn.
