because some of us feel that it could be redudant to create ANOTHER detector section when one is already established under "radar detectors"

Yeah, I suppose that is true. Getting to be a lot of different forums going on here. I'd say posting a message to "ATTN M. Valentine" in the radar detector conference would do.
