X2, the Expert-meter on the X50 really is the 'case closed' word, that said either one will do, the X50 has the better K band and laser (if we are even counting laser), and the RX65 has better KA... not to mention the Blue display which under any lighting condition can be seen.

Also can voice alerts be turned off but still have visual alerts and tones come up just once per alert but without voice.
yes voice can be turned off and it sayd "K band" after like the second or third tone for the alert of whatever band it is
    Thanks.

Blue is bada$$ and pretty nice to boot...............the only real PRACTICAL reason to go blue is that it doesnt wash out in sunlight at full brightness............. good for me in Texas, should be good for you in Arizona, both places where the sun is big and HOT

Bear-Tweezy was right, if you zombies would back off for .2 seconds on the notion EVERYTHING said is comparing to the V1.

I was ONLY COMPARING The RX65/X50.

READ my post, before becoming a mindless zombie! (In my post I said either... which normally implies one or the other, and the only two detectors I mentioned were the X50 and the RX65)... because again thats what the topics title says(RX65/X50), since they are really the only two detectors he is asking about in (this) comparison... so thanks boys I know the V1 beats the X50 in laser, but since we are talking about the RX65 and X50, I didn't feel the need to interject the V1 into this like a Zombie would.
