which one should i get they cost about the same price.

BEL = NZ$706.00+GST

X50 = NZ$706.00+GST (Blue)
X50 = NZ$662.00+GST (Red)
GST = 12.5%

quite a lot of money and dont want to make the wrong decision

Yes mate, the Bel is far better for our conditions in NZ and Australia. I used to own a Bel 950AU/NZ and it was just brilliant. Today i use the new Bel STi Driver and it's just a bit better, although i'm yet to give it a super test just yet

no the xr650 is a different model, i think its older but its cheaper.

Holy crap those are expensive. Why not ge4t soemone on the board to just buy an x50 here and mail it to you. Save about - meah - 250 bucks atleast. (USD) I've already done this with a few members - let me know if you're interested.
