BEL XR950 AU/NZ or Escort 8500X50

just a quick question.

which one should i get they cost about the same price.

BEL = NZ$706.00+GST

X50 = NZ$706.00+GST (Blue)
X50 = NZ$662.00+GST (Red)
GST = 12.5%

quite a lot of money and dont want to make the wrong decision

Holy crap those are expensive. Why not ge4t soemone on the board to just buy an x50 here and mail it to you. Save about - meah - 250 bucks atleast. (USD) I've already done this with a few members - let me know if you're interested.

No KU Just Ka band in NZ:wink:

NZ and AU members don't be fooled by this NZ/AU sale's pitch. Roy's detector are the same unit's. These NZ unit have had there x,k band turn off that's all. The importer is in AU. They even redesign the boxes.
Now i would expect some NZ/AU car stereo/ radar shop owners to flame me for posting this. Thats OK if you show some real evidence to back it up with. :shock:

This sale's pitch came around about the same time as the parallel importers started to hurt the shop's in this part of the world. Funny thing is Roy's still cheaper.

roys ones are just a bit cheaper than the ones on trademe ( lol i know ) but they are about $500NZD for X50, but this is a trademestore so they have to provide invoices ect.
