    Default New Radar Speed Camera's?

Im not sure if any of you know about these new speed cameras.
    Its called "Shutter Speed".
Any idea if Rd's can pick them up?
If so what band? KU maybe?

My local TV news ran a story on it

That's not radar, it's laser. Go to www.nestor.com for more info.

That's all we need...... Since it's lidar, wouldn't a Laser Jammer JTG?

The thing that kinda confuses me is this scanner Lidar concept. I'm assuming that it's a laser that has the coverage of radar ( Bell Cone ) so it can hit multiable vehicles at once. Would this mean that the laser isn't alway on you and you could JTG easier? hummm......

A good RD should works against it because the system still requires a radar to do the scanning first to differentiate the vehicles, and then the laser will calculate the speed. A laser jammer will NOT work because if you look at the van's computer screen, the laser is always a diagonally beam, sort of like Ka radar.

All we need to know is what kind of radar signal uses for the scanning part and I believe it is either a Ka or Ku band.

NTS Fixed Speed, leverages two independent forms of speed verification. Based on preference, we combine either radar or laser with the irrefutable evidence provided by full-motion video.
But doesn't say what band it uses.

Where does it say it uses radar? I didn't see that at all. Do you have a link to the section it says that?
