#1 Question on the forums

It seems to me like the #1 question on the forums is "What is the cheapest detector I can get with good performance under [100, 150, 200, etc]

Someone needs to make a FAQ and sticky it. I'll be glad to write up a FAQ if need be, a mod/admin can proofread it and then sticky it.

"I didn't get very much warning on my detector... is something wrong? Should I send it back?"

Hopefully at the next GOL event they will test cheaper detectors like the BEL 895, Escort 7500s, BEL rx55

No offense to those who own them but I don't understand the reasoning behind buying and using those detectors. It's one thing to buy a cheap one for a good bang for the buck, But why pay over 200 dollars for a detector and not spend the extra 50-80 for an X50 or RX65?

only 2 of the 3 are over $200, the bel 895 is an extremely good detector for the money, $150? you cant beat it. the 895 has similar range to the 995, rx65 and for sure the rx55. and the 7500 is old news
