Bought a Early Warning rd for testing purposes
Well I broke down today and bought an Early Warning EW-3005 rd today. It was only $29 at ABC Warehouse. Yes I know it's a lower end model but these lower end models need to be tested. It has unique tones for ea ch of the bands. It is made by BG Tech of America. For anyone looking for a rd for under $50 (most likely newbies wanting to start somewhere), you may want to check into this. what about any range numbers and "falsing"? it would be worth it to blow 29.00 to see what it has! then sell it on ebay for 2x the amount!
i got an old early warning from the mid-90's'. Yesterday i got i think about a mile on a K band speeds sign, straight, on highway.
