Valentine 1 or Bel STi Driver? Need Help, Making a Purchase.

V1 vs STi and 9500i, I am still trying to decide what works the best on busy highways of IL and in not too long in CA or MA.

Reading all these posts is driving me crazy. All those opinions and none of them really unbiased.

Based on the general consensus. and backed by the GOL test, the V1 and STi will be a solid performer with the 9500i a young pup still in development.

The V1 is supreme for highway use, the STi is a better generalist, less falsing, excellent for highway and urbana. I wouldn't use the 9500i for a highway detector, it can't even begin to compete with either the V1 or STi.

What's the best settings for the STi? I don't have it yet, but I don't know what the modes and features are, maybe someone could explain? What's IO? Should I use POP mode on or off? What is instant on? Thanks.

I really just don't know which one is better. All I know is that the Valentine 1 is the best on laser, but I'm going to be getting the laser interceptor soon so that doesn't really matter. Which one is the best with dectecting radar on all the bands, the Valentine 1 or the STi Driver? Thanks.

Think about this: Where do you live? What bands do cops use most frequently in the areas you drive in the majority of the time? Good things to think about it before purchasing.

In VA or other radar banned states/regions/districts, the STI stealth mounted as stealth/hidden as possible. All other areas, the V1, hands down ;^)
