Default NE1 know the freq. of the Ka drones btwn Lincoln and Omaha

Edit: I am referring to the Ka drones and speed signs in the construction zone. I think it is around the Platte River.

I am guessing they are near 34.7 since both the V1 and Uniden could see them. I want to find out how deaf the Uniden is to 33.8 and 35.5.

Uh... I'm not sure of these Ka drones you speak of.

I took that drive down to lincoln on Husker saturday, and had a couple hits.

    V1.

I had two speed signs, and one I/O state trooper.

But, there was one Ka that I thought was a Cobra, but couldnt place it.

    Location of said drones?

I just drove through these nasty things. They are solar powered guns sitting on poles in the median. High powered intermittent K bursts, not Ka. Where are they --- all along the metro areas of the interstate from Lincoln to south Omaha.

Edit: if you are referring to the Ka speed signs, yeah those are there in the construction zones... no idea what frequency. Nebraska is the only place I've seen using Ka speed signs.

    Reviving an old thread..i know!

I've wanted to know the same thing for a while but I found out today all the drones in the construction signs by the platte river are 34.7GHz for any Omaha/Lincoln area people that want to know...

The annoying intermittent K-band drones are only in the Omaha area east of mile marker 440 and in Lincoln theres a couple of them on I-180.

Kind of funny, all V1 users in this post wanting to know what frequency is being used, sorry saps.

    Wonder why they even cared?

They need not fear the unknown, why they are V1 users, though they drive in the valley of darkness they fear no frequency for they have the baddest mo fo detector in the land. (I thought)

This is about as silly as us 9500i owners asking what direction the arrows point in an area. (like we care or it matters)

Sorry, just having fun, couldn't help it.
