I just read the new Autoweek and it had coverage of a recent SML test. The article was OK. It mentioned that SML is getting paid by all the manufactures aside from VR and it rated the top detectors the way they really stack up. V1 was described as being the most sensitive with the most falses.
One surprise though; the test showed that the STi and Wistler pro-78 were both undetectable by the Spectre III.
This is news to me, and I wonder if anyone can confirm this. If its true then there is a much cheaper alternative to the STi.
Oh the also briefly mentioned laser jammers, mainly Blinder.
