These are the items I've been using for the past almost 2 years for my STI, got no issues running it by the sun visor, no other choice, but the performance is incredibly great, very happy with the STI and its pro install

thanks TSI, can you remember any of the toppic titles? i trawled through 18 pages last night and didnt get much. there was a really nice set up on a M3 that had the V1 in a fabricated box, middle of the parcel shelf but i dont have a parcel shelf in mine so thats out.

i had a look out today were i could mount it and the only place i can think of is the visor mount so looks like its that then. however theres a bit of a problem there too. the view of the front of the road is fine but at the back of the car it has a lump were the trunk section starts. i've took a few pics trying to explain it but anyone else had this problem. just wondering if the V1 would still get 360 degree location on radar and laser with this lump in the roof lineing??

you can see here that you can see out the front but cant see the visors and probably the RD mounted there!

move lower to take the pic and you can just see the visors.

do you think a visor mounted install would still work then??
