Upgrade 9500i to 9500ix or v1+laser or v1+cheetahGPS
So now that the 9500ix is upon us, I feel i have some decisions to make.
I can apparently get either the upgrade to the 9500ix ($130) or I can just go with the v1 + something in the $150 range. i.e. veil, cheetahGPS, something else.
those were the combos i was thinking of, but if anyone else has other ideas please help me out. Thanks!
(maybe the x50 and both or x50 and +$100 to get the antilaser)

I've got the V1, and my cheetah mirror will be here on Thursday, I'll let you know how I like the combo, and I'll be writing a review either Sunday night or early next week.

majority is highway. i dont speed much in the city anyway so i have no problem turning it off once every 2 months when i'm strollin downtown...
I'm not too happy with the ramp up of my 9500i that i bought in nov. as well as it's tried abilities with speed limit signs. seems my x50 worked much better. wondering if this was an isolated or explainable circumstance or just the way things are...

buy V1 then (anything else is extras) - just performance detecting...no filtering..especially if you're not dealing with auto door openers regularly. I agree totally about the 9500i ramp up, and honestly havent noticed any big improvements on sensitivity either. Coming from my X50 I was disappointed...but the way I purchased my 9500i from Escort, I couldnt really return it for a full refund....(i.e. - they hooked me up with a rare 9500i brand new deal etc. and I'd be a shmuck to ask for my money back).
I may however get a V1 and sell the brand new 9500i...
