sold my x50 got a v1

I use to have a 8500 x50. but I did not like the way it would pick up on ka so I sold it bought a v1 way better detector.

Thats cool. You will love the increased performance and the arrows. I used to have an X50 and i loved it because it looked and sounded high tech and that loud KA tones are scarry!! But all in all, the V1 is just king if you know how to utilize it and don't care much about falsing or looks.

Don't post any Q's in the V1 section, they will just tell you to search first. One of the most useless forums on this site. V1 snobs, not all Category is helpful.

gtpjonny, your going to love your V1 so much that you won't go back. I used to have X50 and I was not that satisfied with it so I wanted V1 because I'm a sensitive freak. The arrows and bogey counter are great features to the V1 also. I know X50 has the bogey counter too but they're freaking small by Visual.

I prefer the V1 over the X50 by a pretty large margin. The only thing I can think of that you might miss is spec display.

This is true. I missed the tech mode on my 995, for a little while. The arrows more than made up for it.
