A 2 level alertness. Tab volume for weak X and K. Loud main volume for strong X, K, all Ka and Laser for the no thinking hit the brakes reactions. Yes, there are no setting for Ka but all Ka is heaved with Bama Troopers around. Oh, settings is 7 and b arrows down in little l mode. Does that help?

Two distinct VOLUME levels of alerting... not sure how it has any correlation with anything regarding I/O... but if your set-up works for you... that is what counts!

If you slam on the brakes for I/O, QT, POP or Laser, it should be a non-thinking reaction, fast. With the 2 different alert levels of volume, one that you just notice and one to scare the heck out of you so you do not have to think about what to do. If you have to think on what to do when your RD alarms, you lose some advantages of beating a hit. Other wise, you will be slow to brake or not brake at all....... P.S. - this can be dangerous and I do not encourage anyone to use these settings on a wet pavement or if you have a tailgater.......Understand now?.....

I guess... I just know the tones at this point and take action accordingly, often without even looking at the V1 anymore.

The problem was after years of owning a V1, I got lazy on the alarms and with I/O used more and more, I had to break myself from this. Therefore, I do not have to think about what to do when the loud alarm sounds...
