Default Attach smartcord to dash? (tips)

Tomorrow when it warms up im gonna move my Redline to a better position. Tonite I tried to refasten my smart cord. I had it attached to the dash with sticky squares (3M indoor/outdoor). This is the 3 time they have failed in a week. I went to lowes and got some industurial velcro. Its the "extreme" version that is supposed to allow you to stick stuff to cement. Well it doesnt attach to my dash. Fall right off. I would pefer NOT to drill my dash to attach a smartcord. And my car is NOT treated with ANY dash treatment (armorall, black majic, etc.)....Any tips or advice to share?

just tuck the wire behind panels - get the straight cord. OR just hardwire it.

Did you try cleaning the area on your dash with denatured alcohol or similar first? Sometimes cleaning with alcohol can make a huge difference. You can get a can of it at Home Depot/Lowes for a few bucks.

Nothing sticks to the dash in the Vette either, so I know how you feel. Either use an Invisicord or get a flat wire cable and tuck in in as suggested.
