    Default Not a Good Week!!

It started on Monday, when my Redline was very quiet on my way home from work, missing all
regular KBand false targets, raising my suspicion.
Before going home, I decided to go and park outside the local supermarket main doors,
where the RD should have been making more noise than it did.
To double check, I picked up my relatively new, (read "little used") Sti Magnum from my other
car and drove back to the shopping centre.
Guess what!!?? The Sti Magnum was found to be dead on K Band too!!!!!
No way, this is not happening! The Sti Magnum is 10mnths old, rarely used, as it is installed
in my WRX (driven once or twice a month). How can two RD's die in the same day??

Further testing has shown that my Redline works OK in the morning, but hates afternoons!! (K Band)
The Magnum is dead on K band 24/7. Other bands appear OK.

Have tried Factory Resets on both. And even ran the Redline with full A/C on cool on windscreen, trying to
discount a heat related issue. No change.

Have contacted Beltronics and am organising a warranty claim on the Sti Magnum.
Not sure what to do with the Redline. Its going to cost me anyway, as it is out of warranty.

    Act of God ?

Everything in the universe has its ending ....but the same day is too much !

Did you check , if for some reason , the voltage output is too high ...though rds
are made to support close to 15 volts ...I think.

    Best luck .

I believe the rd will show a voltage warning.
Also, unless your battery light is on your alt. is most likely not over or undercharging.
It is a very easy thing to double check for.
