    Default been gone a while

    Hi Guys,

    been gone a few yrs while had a family etc.

    just about to upgrade my passport max and wondering where all the tests that used to be done each yr are.
    Do they still do them?
    what is best detector at the moment.
    we run 34.7 ka and low k 24.065 cameras in nz

    I posted a FCC test link in the V1 forum. As for what is the current best, it's probably the Uniden R7. The R7 is the newest rd to hit the market and sports very advanced features. Personally, the look sux, however, it should hold its own.

    Just to let you know, the FCC usually does tests in bulk and not every year. Simply put, a new model with new electronics gets tested prior to hitting the market. As I've indicated in the V1 forum, it looks as though they are all outdated, propped up by software updates. New chip and processor speeds far exceed the V1's hardware and performance.
