CB antenna on a scanner

I just bought a CB antenna from radio shack and it has a connector that I'm not familiar with. Is this a "motorola type connector"?

I have a Uniden BCT8 scanner, so I have to convert it to BNC to use it. I don't know what the name of the adapter is called though. Does anyone know what to get?

That would be a PL-259 connector. R$ has a direct adapter
(SO-239 to BNC) that would make that connection. R$ part # is 278-0120, should be around $5.50 + tax.

Thanks I bought the piece today and it works pretty well. I won't know how well my radio and antenna pick up CB channels until this weekend.

Head for the hills, high ground the more elevation you have the better signal will be.
