    Default Retractable CB/Scanner antenna

    Hey, Im looking for an antenna that is permently mounted but automatically extends or can be manually extended when I want it to be or goes up when the scanner turns on (auto)

    Is any of this technology out for a cb and/or a scanner?

    ROFL! That's gotta be uber annoying!

    Every company that made those stopped in the 1980s. They sucked so bad that nobody in their right mind wanted one. There just is an extremely limited market for stealthy CB antenna, since most CB dorks care more about performance than looks, and most people into the looks of their car aren't into CBs.

    Good explanation here --> 3-WAY (AM/FM/CB) ANTENNA

    Yeah everything you said is right. I want the peformance but need the looks too. And why is that? Thats because its not going on a truck its going on a BMW! lol

    trunk lip mount it. probably the cleanest looking install you can get, short of drilling.

    wires are hidden too. RF ground is OK. the biggest worry is finding DC ground, since the trunk is isolated from the chassis ground.

    Would you mind explaining this DC ground business?
