??
Tests to come in a few weeks and we are in full production later next month. <Posted 21st November>.
> Tests are going on over the next few weeks and they are.
And release will be early...
>I thought u guys sent some units out for testing a few weeks ago????
No, We never said that. We only send out stuff when we are happy with its performance. Next week or so we`ll send one of the...
You talking about the LTI 20-20? We tested it with that ages ago.
We are playing with the output performance at the moment. Racking up the amount of power we can get from the lasers without burning them out or sacrificing the rise time. When we are happy then we`ll...
Made by Osram.
They are also the people who make the SPL_PL90 laser diodes used in range finding. Same variation as used on the LRC100 and Defender2.
We are working on the beta versions we have here, when we are satisfied with the jammer performance then we`ll ship them out for testing.
So just wait.
1st release will be standalone, after...
Errrrrr that`s exactly what the DS does...it`s completely software upgradeable, as is the database.
THe Jammer will link to the DS, it can save locations where the laser has fired, or where you...
Yep.
Proof is in eating the pudding.
Everyone should just wait for the Beta versions of the hardware to go out to the testers. Then we can say it works with this or that gun. Or this is ok or...
Lets just get the jammer out and have it tested with all the guns we have then make a decision as to if there are improvements required or whether or not it works fine as is.
Regarding the fact...
Strange, very strange,
Have you run the cable from the Pulsemaster around the engine bay? Is it close to the alternator or near to the engine nearest the spark?
It could be an EM pulse is...
Oh, I forgot, thanks for all the testing Roy and guys.
Is it at your home/work and a place where you did some testing with the laser gun?
Or have you saved a POI using the (UP/DOWN) keys to save the location as a laser hit as you can save it as a...
It`s possible, but I havn`t come across a case where it didn`t work on XP.
Only on Win 95/98 can you get some problems using the USB/Serial driver as Windowz USB drivers are awful.....thanks...
Any idea why Roy's XP boxes are unable to work with the DS? Is this a serial interface or a USB?
> You need to install the USB/serial drivers if you are using the USB/Serial cable. If you don`t...
Interesting, the Blinder seemed to alert about a second before the DS each time. I would have to change that alarm sound to something that would get my attention.

Overall Comments:

1- The Drive Smart team provided an update earlier last week to upgrade the unit to receive the Stealth Mode. For what ever reasons, two of my...
If you do 1+ you're gong to get alot of false alarms. Stealth mode is a double pulse then a delay. Other detectors only detect laser past 3 pulses. I could be wrong(not likely heheheh j/k), so maybe...
You can also get the same result from using the windscreen wipers and the horn on the car.
It`s all to do with the way they detect the laser.
This software is basically a bug tool, clock up the pulse rate and see how the system reacts to the different guns. If you really want to, you can use the DS to count the number of pulses coming from...
OH, in repsonse to your initial question, the Stealth mode we believe is one of those lovely guns that either
1) sends out pulse, stop, pulse, pulse stop etc so if it is detected, the diodes...
The jammer is due for release shortly, still working on some code, bug testing , you know the usual stuff. We like to hammer it to death before release so its as bullet proof as we can get it.
...
It is possible to do it.
Each gun sends out a number of pulses per second, if you have a good enough receiver you can count the pulses sent from the gun, make a record of it and get the lasers in...
