  1. Re: Your opinion of LI's Selectable Timed Jamming Capability mode?

I just saw that the supreme court ruled that gps tagging of civilian vehicles doesn't require a permit. Why not do it to every squad car in the lot? Lol...[/QUOTE]

    I agree!!! Man, could you...
  2. Re: Your opinion of LI's Selectable Timed Jamming Capability mode?

Thanks. That is what I was looking for.

Good advice. We are thinking along the same lines. I had actually planned on cutting the jammers off, but when I saw this feature I had to know...
  3. Your opinion of LI's Selectable Timed Jamming Capability mode?

My apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. I searched the forums and found little on this subject.

What is your experience with LI's Selectable Timed Jamming Capability mode?

    Does it...
  4. Re: What non-technological countermeasures do you use?

Thank you supercowpowers. That was EXACTLY the kind of information I was looking for. You taught me a thing or two.

    Re: Got hit today :(

    Two things:
    1) Surveillance footage.
    2) Take them to small claims court if the insurance company won't pay for the LI's; they are legally responsible for anything which the insurance company does...

  9. What non-technological countermeasures do you use?

My apologies if this is the wrong forum. This seemed to be the best place for my question.

Additionally, if this issue has been addressed elsewhere please point me in the correct direction. I...

Re: Bright colored & red vehicle attracts LEOs?

    No and quite possibly.

I have examined this exact subject a great deal recently while shopping for a new car. Unfortunately, this topic has been legitimately researched very little.

    The best...

    Re: Greetings from North Carolina

    Thank you!

Surprisingly I walked away from court with my drivers license in hand, a small fine (fine + court fees) and NO POINTS, but I do have to be careful for the next three years until the...

    Re: Greetings from North Carolina

That is good to know. The 9500ci seems to be the best installed detector out there if you can forgive its ramp up and jamming shortcomings.

    Re: Greetings from North Carolina

An old Toyota truck with 353,000 miles. It is on its last leg and is not worth putting a detector in at this point; it overheats when I drive it more than 5 miles at a time or when I drive faster...

    Greetings from North Carolina

    Like the forum. Fascinating info.

I am looking at purchasing a 9500ci and an additional laser jammer for a new car (Honda Accord Coupe, V6, stick) I plan to purchase in the next week to nine...
  16. Re: Fastest speed at which you survived an accident?

Less than 1mph. This occurred at age 15 just before going out to ride my moped. I had my helmet on and was walking out the door and my mother asked me to jump up on the kitchen counter and grab...

Sticky: Re: Google Earth "map" of speed traps

I was wondering if there was a "live" source for this information somewhere on the internet that people regularly used since this thread died in 2008.

    Thanks!

Re: Well LI breaks again? :(?

My solution: Buy everything with American Express. Then you have at least 1 year of additional warranty.

Re: Caped cyclist caught on speed camera

Great video, but the sad fact is, they will probably give the guy a ticket if they ever figure out who it is.

Re: Install for 2009 Honda Accord Sedan

For the rear jammers: What about installing a rear deck lid spoiler (the small one, not the wing spoiler) and just mount the jammers inside it? The jammers would be close to the taillights and the...
