I like the V1 as it has a bigger button to mute and control volume with your gloves on.
Nice 9-3!
You didn't want that V1 speaker next to your ear? :)

Why not update the V1 to .893 too?
Not including the disclaimer they are both not mounted on the windshield is your own bias.
I-270 at 670 in Columbus does this every once in awhile. But not everytime I go through. It's different so much so it goes around V1 TSR on the .893.
I've seen I-271 near Chragrin and northward....
That video is deceiving as the V1 is mounted in the back seat with your body, front pillars around the windshield, and the seats blocking radar transmissions. You need to put it up front and get the...
V1 K-band muting is the best in the business with no filtering like the Belscort to slow or no response. V1's latest TSR works quite well as I have to drive 120 miles daily.
Yes, there is a dozen...
Weird. Must be the result of some testing since they did it around the same time.
Not that bad of an issue as it only last a mile or so.
Yup! Friday I-71/Rte 82 had a rouge sensor going off every 10 seconds. I thought for sure it was a Sheriff or Strongsville at the turnaround just south of 82. But the cyclical burst along with the...

Cool! Blackberry Bold works great aside from there are no more updates going forward. They will maintain infrastructure for those of us with older phones as I've seen the complaints on the forum...
Ohio was really heavy this past week also. Waze was lite up!
I changed my Event Radius to 5 miles, that eliminated a lot of the extra reports I did not need to know about. I only see 3 or 4 per morning on my 20 mile drive to work. Maybe there are less people...
That's not sleeping, that's a siesta! :)
V1 has TSR for Ohio's speed sensors and it is nice and quiet now. Though K-band muting did it's job and you knew more of what was going on if at the muted volume.
Ka, especially with Guard OFF,...
I like how the video shows the Ka bands divided up. That's nice for us that only occasionally see 35.5 near towns and cities. I still wish they had the an extra accessory port available.
For Waze don't you need internet besides GPS or no?[/QUOTE]
Yes, internet and GPS for Waze.
Thinking about doing a Android tablet with GPS as I could run Waze.com navigation at the same time?
This will be great for running Ka Guard OFF. Not that it bothers me much now but in unfamiliar areas it'll help.
Very cool!
Looking to run Waze on a tablet in the car so I can add V1 connect too! :)
I passed a detective in an unmarked Crown Vic in West Virgina(I-77 is so much fun) and a patrol car is was sitting in the center with constant on. An Impala was following me but continued above the...
What kind of car? If it was unmarked how do you know it was OSP? City and state detectives can pull people over too.
Your probably correct and have all your facts. Opinions will vary but what has worked for me, low profile cars with stiff suspension and great brakes - along with quick actions from the driver all...
