what do you mean get a dud? Is it quite often people get ****ty redlines? if i get a ****ty one can't i just send it back for a replacement?

the issue is that i have a 9500ix not using gps, not using any extra features, nothing that i need. i want the best catching distance and sensitivity. The 9500ix isn't fitting my needs an older rx65...

i dont live to lessen falses, i wan't a detector that isn't going to go crazy falses.

what do you mean by that? its a good system, and it catches MUCH better with GPS off than on. But im not sure if i have a bad unit or just the detector itself isn't that good.
