Thank you.
This is the first RD forum, and still the best. I've been a RDF member, and after 3 login's you're tossed if you don't join. Further, they install **** on your os and browser to block any attempt...
If you have a tablet, either android or apple, you should be able to download Valentine’s app.
You would have to download Valentine’s app to update your unit. There is an firmware update that is dated May 2020 that brings it to version 4.1019. Should take 10 minutes to complete.
This is not as unknown as you think it is.
Well, not going to deter me from buying a VG2. Still intending to purchase on by Labor Day.
Nope. I’m going to hang around here for a while.
Same thing with this site. They don’t let you post unless you have signed up as well. At least they don’t put a limit on how many posts one can read.
You’re welcome for the information I provided you. Don’t know where you get RDF.org has been hacked by the Chinese and puts unremovable stuff on one’ hard drive.
Great news! I can't wait to see some photos of the new one. Do you have some good links?

Well there is the Valentine 1 website that has been updated last week and you can go to...
For those interested, Valentine is shipping pre order V1Generation 2’s right now and should be shipping them starting next week.
I really debated responding to this thread, but the 2006 last FCC test date of your V1's been in my craw. I'm surprised it does not trip you with collision avoidance? Today, post 2016 rd's block...
Yup, on this planet earth. Doubtful that V1 is out of business.[/QUOTE]
One day, should we move to Mars with our Tesla Roadsters, the fuz will no doubt follow, and I hope the V1 does too.

I think you may have something there. If you only drive 10 mph over, eyes, and a rd work too. Ever buy a performance car like the 2020 Vette, the best detection is a no brainer. FYI, the Uniden...

Interesting conclusion you come to concerning RDF. Yes you get limited free visits as a guest but what makes you think they load up your hard drive with tons of crap?
I don’t like speculation either. The speculation and parts shortage come from another radar detector forum that I frequent. Some people speculate that Valentine is done and as for the parts, my...
My understanding is that they are having problems with a parts supplier. Going out of business is pure speculation.
You've gotta' be a HAM. We think alike, and that scares me ;-). I'm really debating a purchase of a 2020 Stingray because they have really shrunk the rear window (Lidar issue here), so I'm on pause...
Whatever vehicle I am taking on a long trip.
In all 3 vehicles, I mount mine above the rear view mirror on the left of center but low enough for the RD to see out the back.
No. Just old school. A lot better than today’s high tech garbage. And what makes you think that cops are constantly updating their countermeasures? Last time I checked, they are still using Ka...
