Default MBZ E55 AMG Escort 9500i install

Hey Hey everybody! I took the plunge and set up my 9500i with a Direct Wire kit from Escort. For power, I spliced it out of the cigarette lighter feed, as I knew that would definitely work - and put the mute button near my knee for easy activation.

I'm thinking of taking the plunge on the 9500ix upgrade at this point - I've forced myself into sticking to Escort for the foreseeable future!

    Car is a 2001 W210 MERC E55 AMG...

That's the power for my phone - runs from Cigarette lighter and converts the 12 volt DC to 3 or 4 volts for the USB port on my phone, which is mounted along the A pillar. I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to get rid of that, because I feel my declutterization is only half complete.
