Arrow Bel STi Hardwire in a 2008 WRX

Just finished hardwiring my Beltronics STi into my 2008 WRX. I used the Beltronics DirectWire kit, mainly for the mute button and overall professionalism of the kit as opposed to similar eBay kits.

First off a picture of my car, detailed with M205 and my Porter Cable:

    and the hardwire:

I had to make an extension cable for the power connection so i could run it down the A pillar and down the dash. Very pleased with the kit!

    Nice job!

Sharpie your suctions cups black. They'll be less noticeable from the front--try it!

Good idea, I might have to try this out. Do the suction cups lose any strength in doing so?

I have no idea. My suction cups have been working fine so far.

I just colored the cabin-side of the suction cups, and don't foresee any change apart from the increased heat absorption--which should be negligible.

Oh okay, nice I understand now. Yeah I'll give that a try. You're to blame if they fail though

Its okay. You can blame me, but new suctions cups are pretty cheap. Haahaha. Or you could just wash the ink off with alcohol--assuming they don't corrode the plastic. Tsk tsk.

I would mount the STi even higher. Other than that, hardwire looks very clean.

    FAQs.

Or test against a known radar source, like a CVS door opener etc.
