CB Radios vs Radar Detectors?

Since I see trucks pulled over occasionally, I assume that CB is not 100% reliable either.

But how well is the communication between truckers when it comes to warning about police traps? Any experience?

If there's truckers on the road, and there's a cop around, you'll hear about it.

MY scanner is perfect for picking up trucker's warning about cops. The CB reception was shoty before I got a mobile 15" magnetic antenna....I can't wait till i get time to get my ham licence and i can go for more of a permanet set-up. Till i get a CB my scanner and my extra antenna does the trick
