3.851 J'ed out real threat :(

Was really hoping they fixed it, but thats a negative. Went by a cop today running constant KA, and it J'ed as he was still out of site. It was giving me an alert for at least a minute before it J'ed. I turn it off, then on, and KA was alerting at the rear.

If it alerts you to constant on Ka for a minute without problem then J's, that isn't a big deal is it?

Agreed, but it's still annoying as hell.

Well the fact it J'ed could mean I got lucky that it didnt J it in the first few seconds

Does the 3.851 seem to have better range that you have noticed

Well, on K band this is what I have noticed

I have a usual false spot by a food market, and usually false at a certain spot, right by a companies mailbox. now it alerts to the false at the road before this mailbox, about 30 feet before.

This may not have anything to do with the update, it could be the manufactering variance that detectors have.

I would say wait for GOL to test it, if they say its a minor improvement, then my guess is its very minor. Until then, lets speculate!

maybe it catches Z series POP!
