3.826 - Rock Solid

Personally, I like seeing them but not hearing them until they are decently strong - hence I run Logic Mode. It is great for the city, but for the highway I switch to All Bogeys mode.

That's the same for me little "l" in the city and "A" on the highway. Since I learned of the K mute and turned of X band I get very little sound now. So now when I do here something I am more alert even if it is one or two lights.

I've had good luck w/ my 3.826 unit. Does this mean that the 3.826 is one of the better V'1s compared to the 3.85 series?

i just got the 3.856 brand new and its been great, no problems and it seems like all the issues with the other 3.5 serious have been fixed, cause my J works great along with instant on/POP. So either they fixed them or i just got really lucky and got one that was taken directly out of MIKE V's car

Im confused, with K band mute set on the V1, will it stil show a Kband signal? or is it completely silent and dark until the alert hits 4bars (or whatever level it alerts at)? because that would be cool, and better as long as you could still see the alert just not hear it.

Logic Mode (little l) = weak K band alerts will display and at the muted volume until it breaks the threshold you set.

Advanced Logic Mode (Big L) - weak K band alerts will not display or be heard until it breaks the threshold you set.

do you still get audible alert in little L mode of a new signal detected, say you are passing your usual k band false and an LEO is shooting K down the road not enough to ramp up above the threshold to un-mute, will the bogey lock still sound at normal volume?
