    Default Lost V1 [FOUND!!!]

Well I have some grave news everyone to tell you about my new V1. I called VR today and asked the status of my V1 (one week already gone by) and they said that they haven't received my unit yet.

So I pull out the tracking number (USPS) and check it while I had the rep on the phone with me and it says that it was delivered on Mon Aug 20, 2007 and signed for by K VALENTINE @ 10:51 A.M.

So here I am with no clue to where my V1 is and they say they haven't received it yet. I should state that I notified them I might want to return it for credit and they said they would hold it. I called today to tell them I would be able to keep it. So the rep said she would call if they found it and since it is 6:20 PM here I doubt I will hear at least until monday.

    What do you guys think?

Is it lost, misplaced, or other.

This is the first time I have ever run into this type of problem.

IMHO, if you have proof that they recieved it, the ball is in their court, they owe you a V1. If they lost it on their end, its their fault.

The beauty of tracking numbers!! No one can BS and say they didn't receive it!!! You will have a new V1 befroe long. Between this thread and the other one, it seems as though Mrs. Valentine is wreaking havok over there. That's why I would never combine family and business.

    Yeah really huh

I am so glad I got insurance and a track number and to think I wasn't going to because "What are the odds of it happening to me?" Glad I don't have to eat those words so roughly now

Hey Ace Racer, K Valentine was the person who signed for my V1 back on 8-2 and I will finally be getting it back very soon.

Thanks ProudNMA I feel a little los tover all this as I have never come across any problems with sending a unit in for repair and having to wait more then 4 days at most.

Hopefully Monday will be a good day * crosses fingers *

Mike needs to boot someone out of the business.

I agree that family and business should be kept separate.

Its fine if they are good workers but this is obviously not the case. She was probably angry over loosing your V1 and thats why she chewed me out so bad. Why did u send in the V1 by the way? Time for a tune up?

Regarding I agree that family and business should be kept separate. Phillip has a very valid point on this one.

    No.

I sent it back in because of the imbalanced lighting on the display. Basically, the bogey counter and such areas were always dim regardless of the lighting (ambient) while the arrows were stuck on full brightness and would not dim at all even at night.

Now they have lost it or so they say, but someone over there received it because they signed for it. The rep said they wanted the track number to call the PO and see what happened. If they (VR) already signed for it stating they received it then the PO is no longer held liable for it VR is. At least that is what I am thinking. :?
