How can I check to see

if all the modes in my new V1 are working correctly??

I have a new V1 that I bought direct from Valentine about a month ago W/remote. Up until today, it seemed to be working super.

Today, I left work at lunchtime & jumped on a local x-way. I had just got up to speed & came over a rise when I came on a NY State Trooper parked off the right side of the road, window down & clearly sighting down a radar/laser gun at oncoming traffic (me). There was a steady line of traffic ahead & behind me.

I almost had a heart attack as the V1 had never made a peep (not a good feeling at all) & I was not sure how fast I was going (as it turns out, I was only going about 5 over the PSL when I looked down at the speedo). The V1 never did make a sound as I steadily pulled away.

I don't know if this was simply an I/O setup & nobody was going fast enough to get the cop to trigger it (that is my guess), or if maybe the V1 is not working correctly.

that cop was prob shootin laser at other cars and u didnt get hit or he had not shot it yet...or if it was radar he could have been shooting I/O very selectively... and u have a ford escape hybrid! my mom has one of those...its electronically limited at 100 mph but i hit 91 in it

LOL, it may be limited to 100 mph but that's plenty fast enough to get a major speeding ticket around here........

Just because you see a cop, even with a radar gun does not mean he is Using it!!

I fully realize that, but it's still an awful feeling to see that gun pointed right at you & the RD remaining totally silent.
