Press down the enter button on the steering wheel and it will mark the location so everytime your coming up to it you can see the mark on th navi.

We all would. Unfortunately, the displays built into most cars were never designed to be used as a V1 concealed display, so they aren't always capable of showing the proper symbols. For example, the Corvette HUD has a forward-pointing arrow, a backward-pointing arrow, an arrow that points left, and an arrow that points right - and they're all mutually-exclusive. If you have a front arrow showing and you tell the HUD to display a rear arrow, the rear arrow will overwrite the front arrow. Some cars, like your M3, have no arrow icons at all - only letters.

Sometimes you just gotta work with the tools you have - like MacGyver.

Plus, there's not too much difference in turning your head to look at the V1 or the Nav display.
The big plus for me is that using one of the car's built-in displays as your Concealed Display makes the V1's display completely hidden - nobody can see it from outside the car, and even if a cop stops you and walks up to your side window and looks inside there's nothing for him to see (except maybe the V1 itself, but with the remote display plugged in the face of the V1 goes completely dark and looks like it's powered off). If you've installed it well and hidden the power cord away inside the windshield moulding, chances are he won't even notice it sitting there.

Of course, only you can decide whether these advantages have any value to you or not.

Check my signature for my cluster install

I think it's great and no one ever notices it until I point it out to them.

Even when it's all lit up with bright red blinking lights?
