Penn. SP running IO K-band right over the crest of a hill. Was effectively a rabbit for the Accord that was 3" off my bumper. I was passing traffic on the right and just as I got out of the way for the guy behind me to pass, was shot. 70 in 65, currently fighting.

There was nobody in front of me for probably 2+ miles. It was my fault, being stupid. I don't blame the V1 at all.

    80 in 65... =(

i was merging onto a highway from another one, and it was a fun on-ramp... as i'm merging towards the left (i'm in lane 3, trying to get into lane 2), the escalade in lane 2 drops back and there's a CHP cruising.. i knew i was a goner...

he claims i passed him going 80, but i was clearly on the ramp.. and how often do you go the speed limit while you're merging? life lesson... always check behind you before you speed up after getting on a highway

70 in a 65? Usually they let that fly.

One would think so...I got the the ticket and, mentally, the cruise control to prove it. Some would say "Stranger things have happened.", but I don't believe that for this case.

(I do strongly believe that it was because I had Texas plates in PA. 5 over isn't admissible in court in the "Commonwealth of Penn".)

Last fall I received a parking ticket from my college. Parked overnight in a no parking zone. There was a "student parking" sign there and all student lots allow overnight parking. So I fight the ticket and naturally it gets denied (like every other ticket except for when girls claim "I was too scared to walk home from the other lot in the dark"). I go to security and ask "what gives?". They say that the student parking sign was accidentally placed there over the summer. I say alright, so take the ticket away, its not my fault. They say that I should have memorized the student parking zones from the map I received as a freshman 4 years ago. I say f*ck that, I'm not paying for your mistake. Now, its going to be my brothers problem when he tries to register the car next year.

I guess I will give you that one.

It always seems like the things you pay for always are a pain in the rear. In HS, I didn't have any parking problems, yet I get to college and their Nazi's.

I've got a history of parking violations. Which makes me an expert on knowing the one above was complete BS.

In HS I started the trend of "creating" a new spot 1 closer to the school once the first frost/flurry covers the lines (pretty soon cars were being towed because some kids took it too far and blocked the entrance/exit). I've had meetings in Boston 4 times this summer and been ticketed thrice. I guess its in my genes, my father claims that when he graduated from Syracuse they said he had accumulated the most tickets they had ever seen.

It has its ups and downs. One of my prouder moments was free parking all sophomore year when I bought a no parking sign from Home Depot and installed it in a nice little dirt spot on the side of the road. The town didn't ticket me because they knew it was not theirs, the school didn't ticket me, and the spot was always available.
