V1 w/POP K band ghosting poll

I'm posting this poll to determine if the K band ghosting issue on POP-capable V1s is commonplace or not.

Please respond only if your V1 has POP (3.818 firmware or higher), and specify whether you see more than one K bogey when close to a K band source. (Ka bogeys don't count in this poll).

I own both an X50 rev. 5 and a new V1 ver. 3.825 which i bought last week. At a corner near a local albertsons store and a bank store, my x50 reported two sources. I drove by the sources and confirmed them. The last week(every day around 7:00 pm) when i go down that same street with my new v1 it starts with 2 bogeys and then either goes to 3 or 4 bogeys.

Yep, my V1 started showing the ghosting problem on counter and arrows. It at least still shows the greatest threat arrow correctly so I am able to figure out what is going on. I think Jimbo hit it on the head. I think they have turned up the sensitivity so much with the detector that as I get closer to a radar source the reciever is overwhelmed by the signal. While it is just an annoyance I hope VR can get his fixed.

K band?
There should be a motion sensor for in/out at all entrances there could be very well more than two as I can get 3-4 openers at a store depending on how close of course as the ones facing inside the store are harder to pick up, my 1.7 does not multiple K band ghost.
You really need a real speed gun or speed sign to do a through test of ghosts.

Yes Albertson Grocery Store has the electronic motion doors.But what i dont get is i had my x50 in expert mode and it on reported 2. My v1 did 3 even 4. Is this because of the two radar antennas in the v1. Yes k -band

X50 won't report more than 2 bogeys on K band in expert mode, no matter how many actual bogeys there are. So there could be 3 or 4 actual door openers.

Door openers are generally too weak to cause ghosting. See what you get with a LEO running K or a speed sign.

The reason for my poll is because of all the reports of K ghosting on POP V1s. My non-POP V1 will show a ghost Ka bogey when it's close to real K or Ka radar. I'm wondering if I would start seeing K ghosts in addition to or instead of Ka ghosts if I go for the upgrade.

I had an X50 for two months in March/April and used expert mode as well but noticed that the X50 had a hard time showing more than one and kpatz just reminded me why I never saw three even if I was right on top of a motion sensor.

For those who had a pre-POP V1 and then upgraded to POP and have K band ghosts now: Is the K band ghosting any worse in the POP unit than the Ka band ghosting in the pre-POP unit?

My new 3.818 did it and the same unit with 3.819 still does it. it's done it since i've gotten it.
VR claims it only happens with certain speed signs on a "few" select units, but i've seen it with door openers and k band guns.
