V1-POP2 Alert

I don't think that in my part of Arizona that POP is being used. If anyone has received a V1 POP2 alert, how would it be distinguished from a normal Ka/K band alert? - Just shorter in duration? I think I read that some other detectors actually give a POP reading. I don't think V1 does this. Thanks.

I have a 1.7
My new 1.8POP arrived yesterday
To my knowledge it just goes to full alert to the appropriate band.
Everyone wishes for a specific alert on POP.
How long have you had it, seems some of us are getting a false J code POP (junk detectors) once every week or two?

I got mine on Jan 11, 05. I have yet to receive a "J" alert. I would think that if Valentine can add a "J" alert that they could also use a "P" alert. It is nice to know that the V1 detects POP but it would be nicer if you could distinguish as well from a reg Ka/K alert. I also like the internal pics of the V1 posted elsewhere. Seems well built. And thanks again to those who provided me with information on my A.O.R. version AOR 1000 scanner.
