    Default Concealed Display questions

So I bought a colored display from Languy, and it seems like I lost the hardwiring stuff that came along with my v1 when I first bought it, does anyone know the easiest way to go about getting the parts I need to do it, and a easy to read installation guide?

    Much thanks for the help.

Best thing to do is to buy the hardwire kit from V1 and the rest is very simple.

Also, would getting a visor mount be viable for a WRX wagon? trying to figure out how to get the V1 out of the middle of my windshield and be a little more low profile to go along with the lights being out.

Are you able to mount it high on the windshield either above or to the left or right of the RVM? You can run the wire under all the trim to the fuse box. If it won't stick up there you can get some superlock fasteners so it will stick to the windshield.

This is what I did and it was very easy and is hard to see from outside.

Valentine sells the hardwire kit on their site. It is made for the V1 because the adapter has rj main connection for the unit and then on the other side there is an accessory port for the remote display. I believe it is 13 bucks, then you need to rj lines, they sell them for 10 bucks each for 8 feet, pretty expensive.

Thats different. Theres no such thing as a RJ Line, the line is a cable... category 3, category 5, category 6, thats a cable... the "RJ", or Registered Jack.. is the termination... or the connector. Saying RJ Line just sounds... wrong... and is confusing...

A regular telephone cable will work, last i checked you can get 25' for like 2 bucks... Its not that expensive

Walk into any eltronics store and ask for an RJ11 cable. They should know what that is.
