to keep my v1 pointing straight ahead i need to have the windscreen mount and radar d on a 20 deg aprox angle due to windscreen curve,so
its not horizontal ...does this matter at all

As long as it is aimed straight ahead, there won't be any performance difference with the angle. Being aimed straight ahead is the important thing.
Vertical vs Horizontal won't make any difference, except with some photo radars...
