First true laser hit

Got hit with laser this morning, wasn't that far away and the V1 lit up. Just as I was about to pass they aimed at the bus a ways behind me, V1 saw that too. Only other alerts I've gotten were falses, I think I got one from one of those portable construction message signs yesterday.

Sh*t yeah. I now find it hard to believe that the V1 won't always alert to unobstructed laser.

btw I was goin ~50 in a 45, which was slower than most other cars near me. Cop stayed put (obviously since he was aimed back at the bus).

Orange County FL cops are so lazy... the gun was on a tripod and he was leaned against his fender. Looked like it was a Kustom ProLaser III

I've seen them out there a bunch of times but this is the first time since I got my V1. There's usually another car and/or a couple of motorcycles sitting there to go after people. Never seen any of 'em roll though... either it's a bad place for a speed trap or they don't care that people are speeding. A lot of times the gun is just sitting there and nobody is near it

Once you have your first laser save/scatter pick up with the V1, there is no going back

Hopefully I'll have a blinder by then. I'm hoping to have the money next month. gonna do blinder m25 j17 first then plate cover/veil. I have a dark green car and I won't have my front plate back on until late july at the earliest

got lucky, usually RDs are ticket notifiers when it comes to laser. Bet u cant wait for that Blinder

it's only a ticket notifier if i'm going over the psl (enough to kick up trouble) which I might be more likely to do with a blinder.
However I know orange county uses radar a lot, I don't want to find the ONE guy that knows how to do i/o (haven't seen anything but c/o so far, either that or a REALLY busy i/o trap haha)

I got my first actual laser hit last week on I-95 South... I saw him ahead of time but I was doing the speed limit anyway... it was great to see the V1 pick up laser though...

interesting that the cop you saw was using a tripod... haha
