    I haven't been around here in quite a while, do I need to upgrade anything? It still works flawlessly.

    I've only had ONE isolated problem with it...it didn't alert to a speedsign one day. I restarted the detector and drove by again with a nice alert.

    I have only had my V1 for a little while and mine is a 3.872 which is the newest and from what I have read I would say that yours is fine. You have the latest software and if it is working great then no problem you should be good. You can always go to V1's site and check your serial number. I can not help you with the missed alert but I hope someone else can.
