    Exclamation what is the range?

what should the distance of detection be on a straight highway? also what should range be on on comeing leo around farm roads with dips and turns? both being constant on. also there was a cop on the highway about 150 feet above the road shooting my opposing traffic. the v1 didn't go off untill i was righ next to him. is the v1 not working properly. the detection range on the farm roads was .2-.3 miles. on the highway the detection range was .8 miles. i got the v1 brand new a month ago. should i send my v1 back? thanks in advance

Not completely true, remember, whenever your V1 picks up just a few blips of K band or Ka Band and goes silent, that means the officer is using I/O.

When on the highways ALWAYS run A mode (all bogeys mode) and if X-band isn't active in your area, just turn X off.

Whenever your detector picks up a few small blips of radar on an open in the middle of no where highway, SLOW DOWN. Most likely I/O.

Yes you are screwed by I/O if you are speeding on an open highway (especially at night) with no other traffic. If you react to the shots before you are the victim, then you are not screwed.

Unless the guy is from Texas and Texas DPS was shooting, I'm sure he had gotten some warning before it.

You should take the time to re-tell the story slowly, carefully, and with punctuation. I read your original post once and was confused. I still am.
