for some reason i picked this radar stuff up as a hobby and love it lol. so a little of both ...but it would be nice to see those 35.5 pest and see how the v1 performs...

I'm in the same exact boat!!! I was looking for good RDs last night, thats why I created that thread in the Escort forums hahahah. I'll prob go for a 8500 too... but I could get a x50 for $50 more. Is it worth it? for my purposes at least... This new hobby of mine is growing on me, but I'm not THAT serious about it yet hahaha.

I just hope the 8500 wont interfere with my V1...

The only RD you can do this with is the RedLine, or of cource ideally a STi-R or 9500ci. All the rest will interfer with the V1 which you defanetley dont want to do.

I'm also running a 9500ci. 9500ci in spec mode, RedLine in Expert mode, V1 little "l" max time K band muting.

Ya the one I got from ebay waa an x50...it was for 149 the dude had 11 of them.

If I remember right your from SE Michigan.A majority of the LEO's including MSP use Kustom Signals for KA.I have found a few Stalkers in the area.Canton and the Wayne Couty Sheriff have the Stalker's.Van Buren TWP has MPH Indutries KA band.

So what does this mean lol, i'm confused...but yeah i do a lot of my driving in wayne county and monroe...and when i had my sti brownstown and gibralter ran 35.5

Maybe you can get a used STi. The M3 Belscorts are the only ones that will not interfere with the V1. The GX-65 will make the V1 deaf on Ka, especially 35.5 GHz.

Even a new STi costs less than the Redline.
