If your concerned/having problems about performance w/your V1 then I would send it in and do the upgrade/tune/fix all in one shot, but if your not having performance problems then I would say no it's probably not worth sending it in for upgrade IMO

I have a 3.819 and that is how much mine cost to upgrade. I would like to have it upgraded but to me it's not worth it, my only complaint is the 3.819 even with POP OFF still gives to many Ka falses.

if pop is not used in your area and you dont live in euro land then you dont need it. keep what you got send in for tuneup.

Pop is pretty useless and you don't need Euro..so don't see the need to update and spend any money.
