just got off the phone with Mike, the new V2 will me out late november just in time for christmas. it will be stealth have a removable rear antenna with extension cord for rear remote mounting, it will have a jammer interface to work with all jammer brands (except laser * lol) and of coarse GPS capable. the GPS option will be a remote touch screen display so the V2 can be hidden. the unit will also work with trapster and have a GPS antenna and a Cell phone antenna for live updates.

The Cheetah mirror integrates with the V1 already. Mind you, you lose the original V1 audio alerts and they're replaced with the Cheetah audio alerts, which is why I won't be getting a Cheetah mirror, but it will work for those looking for GPS functionality integrated into a V1.

Not true. You do not lose the V1 alerts unless you intentionally turn them all the way down. I roll with the Cheetah mirror, and use a personalised combination of the two alerts to best suit my style. On laser and Ka, I get V1 and Cheetah alerts. On X and K, I get only muted V1 alerts, and no alerts from the Cheetah at all. Results are a very quiet cockpit in the city, and yet nothing is totally turned off, just in case. You may be thinking of the V1/LI interface, which does cause you to lose all of your V1 audio (or at least, that is my understanding).

As far as response to QT, it goes along when the patent expires.

I wasn't aware that there was a patent issue with QT response. Any more info on this?
