    Default Ordered V1

just ordered a V1 after about 2 month of research I know it will be an excellent choice even though the other Top Tier models are all great. I ordered the remote display and the only thing I am searching for while I wait is how difficult it will be to hardwire it without tearing the crap outta my car ------ any links or personal info would be much appreciated. I'm pumped.

When I installed my V1 I wanted to avoid straggling the power cord across the dash but I didn't want to get too carried away. Maybe you can find a way to do something similar to what I did in my Intrepid... I was able to run the power cable from the lighter adapter just a short few inches to get it up behind the dash, then I got it up into the upper area of the dash. The top cover of my dash pops off, and I was able to feed the V1-end of the cable up through one of the defroster vent grilles right by where the V1 is mounted. Your car is likely different but the total time it took me was about five minutes, no tools or anything else, and you can barely see any of the cable. You might find a way to do something similar.

congrats... if you "know" your car it will not be hard to slip those wires under the panels
